Munson Rotary Continuous Mixer

Slash costs when blending long runs of dry bulk solids with or without liquid additions, quickly, uniformly and gently.

The iBulk® Munson® Rotary Continuous Mixer cuts labour and operational costs dramatically when mixing dry bulk solids, with or without liquid additions, in-line over long product runs.

It delivers uniform blends — typically in one to two minutes residence time — gently and with low energy use.

Particles as fine as 400 mesh (37 micron) can be screened using this machine. Up to five fractions simultaneous classifications can be obtained by incorporating up to four screening decks. The machine can be used to scalp products at very high capacities.

Advantages Of Munson Rotary Continuous Mixer

  • Money-saving machine for mixing bulk materials in large volumes

  • Blends primary bulk ingredients, minor ingredients down to 0.1 percent, and/or liquid additions and coatings

  • Low speed and highly efficient tumbling action — with no impeller or agitator

  • Low residence time for most materials to only 1 to 2 minutes

  • Produces homogeneous blends more gently than any comparable machine. Gentle mixing with no shear.

  • Mixing drum sealed at both ends to prevent product and atmospheric contamination

  • Capacities to 283 m3/h at standard residence times

  • Long life with minimal maintenance

  • Low power requirements

  • Lowest labour cost per amount of material blended

Typical Applications And Industries
