iBulk Direct Drive Screener

Direct-drive screeners typically feature a conventional trough design combined with woven wire or polyurethane screen panels. This configuration allows for effective material separation and handles one or two grades simultaneously.

The versatility and efficiency of direct drive screeners make them valuable in these industries for applications ranging from scalping and dewatering to precise material separation. Their low maintenance requirements and ability to handle a wide range of materials contribute to their popularity across various sectors in Australia.

Advantages

  • Low maintenance requirements.

  • High capacity screening

  • Easily enclosed

  • Suitable for high-temperature application

Industries

  • Smelters

  • Mining

  • Aggregate

  • Chemical

Installation

Direct-drive screens are generally mounted on rubber springs and, for heavy-duty or High-Temperature applications, on steel coil springs. This makes them freely vibrating units that transmit minimal vibration to surrounding structures. Alternatively, the screeners on rubber compression springs may be suspended (steel ropes off eyebolts). They do not require special foundations.

High vibration damping may be achieved using soft springs with high static strength.
